Scheels has been in the Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo area since 1928. What started out as a hardware store has grown into a successful sporting goods chain that we all know and love today.
Scheels is known for valuing their customers, their community, and their associates. As a company, they take pride in being able to improve the lives of others, that’s why they donate their time, energy and resources to various organizations, teams and individuals in our community.
Scheels is a leader when it comes to supporting their communities and they challenge their associates to make that same committment. For the past few years, three associates from Scheels have been instrumental in the planning of our TableScapes event. Their time and dedication to this event is so appreciated.
In addition to their team members planning, designing tables, and attending, we are thrilled that Scheels has graciously agreed to be our official event sponsor of our TableScape event. We are proud to partner with this amazing organization. The designers from Scheels create masterpieces and we are grateful for sharing their creativity and time to make this event extra special.
For those of you who may not be familiar with TableScapes, it is an event that celebrates creativity. Local designers create unique table designs that are truly works of art. The tables are then showcased at the event. Just like the table designs, everyone supported by CCRI has a unique personality and their own unique needs. CCRI has a reputation of providing services that are customized for each individual we serve, regardless of their needs. Similar to our table designers, our teams come up with creative ideas, which are often unconventional, with one goal in mind- to enhance people’s lives.
Proceeds from the event will be used to provide life-changing technology for the people we support.
Today, it is next to impossible to go a day without using technology to create ease within your life. From an Amazon Alexa to a smart TV and smartphone, you have the world at your fingertips. Technology makes things easier.
For people with disabilities, technology makes things possible. From tablets and phone apps to in-home remote monitoring systems, technology is creating possibilities that weren’t available in the past.
CCRI is committed to providing the people we support with technology that allows them opportunities to express themselves, to live independently, to monitor health and safety, and expand their participation in all aspects of their lives.
Join us on October 8th at the Moorhead Courtyard by Marriott and find out about how technology can transform lives. For more information visit CCRIMoorhead.org
